Who are we?

We are a (small) software editor focusing on innovative tools for programmers. We focus on Eclipse plugins and Google Web Toolkit applications —our {core} competencies. We are experienced in project {management}. We like to work with {talented} software teams around the world to complement our own expertise. We aim to provide innovative and quality software tools that {simplify} programmers work.

Front end

Four of our web applications relies on Google Web Toolkit (GWT) for their front end. GWT is a development toolkit for building and optimizing complex browser-based applications. Its goal is to enable productive development of high-performance web applications without the developer having to be an expert in browser quirks, XMLHttpRequest, and JavaScript. GWT is used by many products at Google, including Google Wave and the new version of AdWords. It's open source, completely free, and used by thousands of developers around the world.

One of our web applications, LicenseManagerApp, relies on the Vaadin framework. Vaadin is a Java framework for building modern web applications that look great, perform well and make you and your users happy.

Back end

Our desktop software uses the Eclipse RCP framework for both its front end and its back end. Eclipse RCP is a platform for building and deploying rich client applications. It includes Equinox, a component framework based on the OSGi standard, the ability to deploy native GUI applications to a variety of desktop operating systems, such as Windows, Linux and Mac OSX and an integrated update mechanism for deploying desktop applications from a central server.

As a backend for our web applications, we use the excellent Google Appengine development stack to create apps on Google’s platform that are easy to manage and scale and to benefit from the same systems and infrastructure that power Google’s applications.
